Kenzo 40th Anniversary Limited Edition Tote

Monday, June 7th, 2010

Although ever being sold to other one, brand Kenzo founded by Takada Kenzo still solemnly celebrates its 40th anniversary. Kenzo is famous for the dazzling colorful printing design. Take this opportunity, Kenzo releases a series of low-priced collectibles, including turban, handbags and T-shirts, etc.

Takada Kenzo held his first fashion show in Vivienne Gallery in 1970. A year later, he exhibited his fashion in New York and Tokyo. After the acquisition by LVMH, Kenzo’s main products are children fashion, perfumes and cosmetics, and decoration, etc. The company currently has been in charge of Antonio Marras. Kenzo’s design returns to its original features representing at the early stage of brand development, integrating the picturesque prospect, printing patterns and smooth lines.

This time, Kenzo reinterprets its uniqueness with dynamic pink tone. The heart-shaped white with pink flowers tote fully shows its design style. It must be a fashion single product in this bright summer.

Limited Edition Marcello De Cartier Saddle Bag

Monday, May 31st, 2010

Jewelry? Of course. Watches? For sure. But as far as I’m concerned, most people overlook one of Cartier’s chicest categories: leather goods. That could change, though, with the launch of the house’s new Marcello de Cartier saddle bag. It comes in three sizes and all the usual colors (black, brown, and camel). My favorite is the not-so-usual cherry red; I think it’ll look adorable paired with high-waisted denim and a navy blazer. If you like the cherry red, too, don’t hesitate; it’s a limited-edition.

Marcello de Cartier saddle bag in cherry red leather, medium model, limited edition, $1,500. Available at Cartier boutiques nationwide this June.

Bright-eyed sunglasses straight from Sex and the City 2

Tuesday, May 18th, 2010

Sex and The City fans can be divided into two camps: those who lap up Carrie’s ongoing romantic sagas and those who see the movie purely to dissect every quirky sandal, shade and sun dress. We firmly fall into the latter group, seeing the plot as an afterthought and lapping up fashion’s starring role. With this spirit, the MYKITA & Bernhard Willhelm gold aviators that Carrie sports in the omnipresent movie poster deserve top billing. Originally inspired by flashy 1970’s skiers, the new styles features mirrored lenses and glossy sheet metal frames. From alpine slopes to city streets, these shades have a forward look that best suits bold style setters like Bradshaw.

Mykita & Bernhard Willhelm limited-edition “Franz”, “Sepp” and “Luke” metal sunglasses, $585 each.
